Aude Spero - latin, meaning "dare to hope". That pretty much says it all. I'm just a simple girl, rebuilding my world and daring to hope that one day everything will be okay again.

I'm not your typical "girl".

I'm tall, I burp in public, and I hold my own in video games against "the guys". I'm not into silly little girlish mindgames, and I don't take three hours to get ready before going out somewhere.

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour. You don't have to agree with that, but please don't demean me for it. I was made in his image, and I am beautiful when I emerge from the work of his mighty hands.

I'm currently fighting off the urge to switch my area of study for the third time. Currently i'm aimed towards a Associates of Social Science and a Bachelors of Social Work. In a perfect world, I would want to be a photographer or a singer. But if I change to an arts major, none of my current classload and past credits will apply.

I prefer playing pool and listening to jazz at a hole-in-the-wall bar rather than going to a noisy club and being a victim of skank-polution.

I've sold my soul to the Karaoke man.

I'll read anything by Kurt Vonnegut and Orson Scott Card. I love Tim Burton and Cameron Crowe movies. I listen to pretty much anything except for hardcore gangsta rap. And Thai/Japanese cuisine rocks my world.
